TabVault ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our Chrome extension.
Information We Collect
Local Data (Free Users):
- Tab URLs and page titles when you save a session
- Favicon URLs for visual display
- Session timestamps and names
This data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's storage API and never leaves your computer unless you enable cloud sync.
Cloud Data (Pro Users):
- Session data (URLs, titles, timestamps) synced to our secure servers
- A unique device identifier for syncing across devices
- Payment status (processed by ExtensionPay/Stripe)
How We Use Your Information
- To save and restore your browser sessions
- To sync sessions across devices (Pro users only)
- To process payments through our payment provider
Data Storage & Security
- Local data is stored securely in Chrome's extension storage
- Cloud data is stored on Supabase servers with encryption in transit
- Payment processing is handled securely by Stripe
Data Sharing
We do NOT:
- Sell your data to third parties
- Share your browsing history with advertisers
- Use your data for purposes unrelated to the extension's functionality
Your Rights
- Delete: Remove any session from the extension at any time
- Export: Your data is accessible within the extension
- Uninstall: Removes all local data from your device
Third-Party Services
Children's Privacy
TabVault is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
